Our Pastor
Christ Presbyterian Church is led by Pastor Cody Gibson. Pastor Cody has been a lifelong resident of the Oneonta area and desires to see the gospel flourishing in our community. He earned a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and an additional Master of Arts from Empire State University. He serves as the chairman of the Leadership/Credentialing Committee in New York State Presbytery. He served as an assistant pastor at Duanesburg Reformed Presbyterian Church from 2017 into 2023, including a time as the solo pastor between Senior Pastors. In 2025 the New York State Presbytery called him to plant a church in Otsego County, NY.
